Luigi Veccia 

creative director, designer and teacher of men's, women's fashion and accessories. Every day he is in close contact with innovative and eco-sustainable fabrics and materials.

“His studies at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome and a brilliant start that led him to work with a symbol of Italian fashion, during his time at Valentino. Luigi Veccia worked in female tailoring department, while learning the secrets of men's fashion at the Accademia dei Sartori. 

The acquired knowledge soon guided him to take flight towards a career path made of consultancies for important Italian brands.

The acquisition of competence and experience in the ready-to-wear section, with a constant eye to the world of tailoring and of demi-couture, not only made Luigi Veccia an authoritative figure, but pushed him to apply his knowledge to some personal proposals that led to the creation of his owner brand. 

In 2012 the designer took part in Room Service, a project created by AltaRoma, and shortly after Veccia was chosen by Sara Sozzani Maino, Deputy Editor of VOGUE Italia, for the VOGUE TALENTS section, an important project that highlights those emerging brands and designers capable of leaving a mark in the generational change linked to Italian and non-Italian fashion.

Since 2010 he has been working for Daks, a historical brand of English style, where he immediately took care of the women's collection, but also of accessories, for her and for him.

In 2019 Luigi Veccia become Daks London creative director.

A great connoisseur of the textile field, specialized both in prints and jacquard,

Veccia can boast of possessing an extremely important archive in the panorama of Italian fashion, composed not only of a fashion library and a rich collection of magazines, but also an important textile archive.
